Develon Launches New Material Handler Range to Strengthen Market Offering

DEVELON, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment, has officially unveiled a new line of wheeled material handlers, developed in partnership with ATLAS GmbH, marking a major milestone in their collaboration which began with a formal agreement signed at Bauma earlier this year.

The expanded material handler line-up now includes five new models: the DX160WMH-7, DX180WMH-7, DX200WMH-7, DX300WMH-7 and DX350WMH-7. These join the previously launched DX270WMH-7, creating a robust range that covers operating weights from 17 to 38 tonne.

With this broader selection, Develon is positioned to serve a significantly wider customer base, delivering solutions for markets such as recycling, waste management, general industry and port operations. The DX160WMH-7 and DX350WMH-7 made their public debut at Bauma alongside the DX270WMH-7, offering visitors a first-hand look at Develon’s most comprehensive material handler range to date - designed for maximum efficiency, durability and high performance.

The commercial rollout has begun in selected European markets, including Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania, with potential for future expansion into additional regions. Early pilot machines have already been introduced to key customers and generated positive feedback.

“The waste and recycling industry is becoming more important every year — not just in volume, but in how it shapes the way we manage resources. By expanding our material handler line-up, we’re responding to this growing demand,” said Jan Breburda, Product Manager at Develon. “These machines reflect our continued investment in delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”

He continued: "The introduction of this new line-up represents a major milestone in Develon’s strategic expansion into the application-focused business segment. By addressing the specific demands of industries such as waste, recycling and heavy-duty bulk material operations, Develon is not only strengthening its footprint in specialized equipment solutions but also reinforcing its presence across a broader, high-growth industrial market.“
