HİDROMEK has been awarded with IF Product Design Award 2020, one of the world’s most distinguished design awards, with its smart and 100% electric city excavator HICON 7W. With the new award, the number of internationally prestigious design awards HİDROMEK has won increased to 19.
For IF Design Award 2020, 78 independent jury members from all over the world have evaluated more than 7,298 entries from 56 countries. After the evaluations, ‘the best’ designs have been selected in a very wide range such as product, communication, packaging and service design, architecture and interior design.
HİDROMEK HAS RECEIVED ITS 19TH DESIGN AWARD
Having one of the few vehicle design studios in Turkey, HİDROMEK combines its knowledge on R&D with its design power. HİDROMEK benefits from virtual reality implementations during design processes to a great extend. Awarded by IF Design Awards this year too, HİDROMEK has granted IF Product Design Award 2020 with its smart and 100% electric wheel excavator HICON 7W. The total number of HİDROMEK’s design awards has increased to 19 while the number of IF Design Awards won by HİDROMEK has reached to 6.
HICON 7W: ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION MACHINE OF THE FUTURE
HİDROMEK’s 100% electric HICON 7W, developed with the goal of specialization in electric construction equipment category of the future, stands out with its being smart, economic and eco-friendly. HICON 7W, which can be easily used in many corners of the city with its zero emission and compact dimensions, relays information with its rear screen to its surroundings for safe driving with its "Environmental Safety System". HICON 7W, previously won the “Winner” Award in German Design 2020 competition where the nominees are determined by a jury.
