TIP Trailer Services appoints Frédéric Notté as Vice President of Med Region

TIP Trailer Services, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital and one of the leading trailer leasing, rental, maintenance and repair providers across Europe and Canada appoints Frédéric Notté as Vice President for the Mediterranean region, consisting of France, Spain & Italy.

Frédéric Notté has been appointed Vice President for the countries France , Italy and Spain as of January 1, 2021, after being Deputy VP since 2015. The region, headquarted in Le Plessis Paté, in the South of Paris, and is representing a total of 24 workshops. The region holds a diversified fleet of around 8,000 semi-trailers, tankers, waste tankers and electric vehicles to serve customers on the last mile delivery. In addition, more than 5,000 customer owned assets are under contract maintenance and repair.

Frédéric Notté brings a wealth of experience to the role. He started his career in engineering and then took on leadership roles in GE Capital IT Solutions and other IT businesses. In those positions he led large IT outsourcing projects which will bring great value to the partnering projects done at TIP. Frédéric moved to TIP in 2007 as Operations Director for France and became Operations Director for the Med region in 2009. He was promoted Deputy VP in 2015.

In this new role, Frédéric will be reporting to Arjen Kraaij, Deputy CEO of TIP Trailer Services. “I would like to congratulate Fred with this promotion and am convinced he will strongly drive the business forward.”

After 15 years of leadership in the TIP Med region, Didier Felice will be moving on to head up Maintenance & Repair operations globally as Vice President Maintenance & Repair &TIP Insight, reporting into COO Paul Beadle. “I have worked with Frédéric for over twenty years, for different companies and it was obvious that he was the right candidate to take over from me. Frédéric is a great professional with a high level of requirement and a particularly developed sense of the customer. I know that I am leaving the business in good hands to continue the development of the Med Region.” (Didier Felice).
